Commercial Lines, Ag & Farm Insurance Salesperson

Whether you're a licensed agent looking for a stronger sales support system to help you grow your business or a highly professional salesperson who'd like to be in the insurance business but needs a start; we'd like to talk to you.

The successful candidate could be a currently licensed insurance agent with experience and the drive to be a higher performer, or someone with strong qualifications in consultative sales, the willingness and ability to learn, and the long term perspective to spend 3-5 years building the foundation of a rewarding lifetime profession.

For an existing agent we provide the support of an excellent customer service team, and a competitive commission package along with medical, vision, profit sharing and 401k benefits. For a trainee we offer a full training and support program designed to launch your career including a base salary while training and commission structure to grow your income over time. The successful trainee candidate should expect modest first year earnings, somewhere in the $36-$50k range. This is a long term process for long term minded producers. (Agents who own their existing books of business are also encouraged to respond.)

Primary Responsibilities Include:

- Prospect to develop new business in the Commercial or Ag Insurance market; including "cold" prospecting.
- Qualify new business opportunities
- Propose best fit solutions using appropriate products.
- Present solutions and cost to business owners.
- Coordinate with customer service department to bind coverage.
- Provide customer service throughout the underwriting process.
- Follow up for long term client satisfaction, retention, and referrals.


- Proven success in business-to-business sales.
- Experience with large, complex sales.
- Experience in relationship building and long selling cycles.
- Basic knowledge of the concept of insurance.
- Excellent communication skills

Customer Service Representative/Receptionist

We need an experienced Customer Service Rep/Receptionist to join the team in our Hanford office. The right candidate will be motivated, optimistic, and possess a strong work ethic as well as a desire to support a team of individuals who are committed to excellence. This individual must possess excellent communication skills, enjoy working with people, be committed to providing excellent customer service and work well on their own as well as in a team environment.

 This is a full time position scheduled, Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM

 Essential Functions include (but may not be limited to):

  • Cheerfully, enthusiastically, and professionally greeting Clients and Prospective Clients both in person and on the telephone.
  • General Clerical duties including filing, photocopying, fax and mailing
  • Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence
  • Provide assistance to Insurance Account Managers and Sales Agents by performing a variety of industry specific tasks. e.g., policy document retrieval, e-filing/attaching of policy documents, monitor client account status, etc.
  • Preparation and posting of all daily outgoing correspondence
  • Accept and process multiple forms of payments for client policies


Necessary Skills/Qualifications:

  • Adherence to agency systems, procedures and insurance company regulations
  • Must be proficient working with Windows 7 (or above), Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and Internet Explorer, as well as having the ability to operate various types of office equipment. (e.g., Copy, Scan, Fax)
  • Type 40+ WPM
  • Bilingual (spoken and written) in English & Spanish preferred


Salary dependent upon experience, but ranges from $25,000 to $31,000 Annually
